Perhaps due to my Communcations background, and my mother's insistence that I join the World Future Society so I'd have a heads up on the future, I've been online with a web site, karlawithak.net, since 1998. My initial intention was to continue my broadcast "voice," but when my entrepreneurial spirit kicked in, I began receiving a priceless education on how to make money online from various Internet Marketers, my own personal experience and, unfortunately, what seemed like, costly mistakes.
Since leaving my radio job, I became a Substitute Teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District. I also began to realize that many adults were conditioned like I was, and lacked the understanding that was necessary to succeed in the "deregulation" environment we live in today. We expected to work our way up the ladder, get benefits and when we got a really good job, look for a retirement plan that we can expect to collect at age 65. Or whatever retirement age is these days. Well, the game plan has changed.
In the 21st century, we also must have the life-long desire to learn, create, innovate, as well as take the risks and responsibility necessary to create our own financial well being. As a "displaced" broadcaster, it came natural to me to share what I have learned and continue to learn. That's how SecretWebSuccess.com was born.
